About the company and your role/activities/involvement:

"We believe the way people interact with their finances will drastically improve in the next few years. We’re dedicated to empowering this transformation by building the tools and infrastructure developers need to create their own products. Today, thousands of companies such as Wise, Monzo, and Curve rely on us to connect with the financial system; supporting millions of requests per day and thousands of bank integrations. Our goal is to give people more control over their finances and unlock financial freedom for everyone.

The product engineering team strives to make working with financial data not only better, but delightful. We believe that the key to solving finance’s biggest problems lies in meeting modern user expectations. As the gateway for thousands of applications like Acorns, Stripe, or Venmo, our platform calls for innovative problem solvers interested in solving the complex challenges in the financial ecosystem and scaling developer and user-facing systems to millions of users.

Our global staff is now around 800 people. The Amsterdam office is a growing office that has existed since the beginning of 2019. Originally focused on compliance, it is now expanding to include European product and engineering teams. Over the coming year, this office will grow from three people to a team of 10-15, ultimately coming to serve as European headquarters.

You will compose the core of the European engineering presence, and will establish the Amsterdam office’s engineering culture. As members of the International team, you will work closely with your San Francisco based counterparts, our European product lead, and our London-based go-to-market team. You will help define and build our European product vision, working to adapt our existing products to the European market and creating and developing new products unique to Europe."
